Switches and Multiplexers

306 | Analog Multiplexer, 16-channel, CMOS
The 306 high-performance, high-precision, monolithic, CMOS analog multiplexer features a greater than 50 krad (Si) total dose tolerance, depending upon space mission. The patented radiation-hardened RAD-PAK® technology incorporates radiation shielding in the microcircuit package. Using Maxwell’s radiation hardened RAD-PAK packaging technology, this single-ended 1-of-16 device offers very low (less than 100 ohms) on-resistance which is matched to within 5 ohms between channels and remains flat over the specified analog signal range. The 306 also offers low leakage over temperature and fast switching speeds. The 306 operates with a single +4.5V to +30V supply, or bipolar ±4.5V to ± 20V supplies, while retaining TTL/CMOS- logic input compatibility and fast switching.

358 | Analog Multiplexer, 8-channel, Fault Protected
The 358 8-Channel single-ended (1 of 8) multiplexers with fault protection features a greater than 50 krad (Si) total dose tolerance, depending upon space mission. Using a series N-channel, P-channel, N-channel structure, these multiplexers provide significantly improved fault protection. If the power supplies to the fault-protected multiplexer are inadvertently turned off while input voltages are still applied, all channels in the multiplexer are turned off, and only a few nanoamperes of leakage current will flow into the inputs. This protects not only the multiplexer and the circuitry driven by the multiplexer, but also protects the sensors or signal sources which drive the multiplexer. All digital inputs have logic thresholds of 0.8V and 2.4V, ensuring both TTL and CMOS compatibility without requiring pullup resistors. Break-before-make operation is guaranteed. Power supply currents have been reduced and typical power dissipation is less than 2 mW.

81840 | Multiplexer, 128-channel
The 81840 high-performance 128-channel multiplexer features a typical 300 krad (Si) total dose tolerance. The 81840 is intended for use in the environments encountered by high reliability spacecraft applications. The patented radiation-hardened RAD-PAK® technology incorporates radiation shielding in the microcircuit package. Capable of surviving in-space environment, the 81840 is ideal for satellite, spacecraft, and space probe missions. It is available up to Class K packaging and screening.
